摘要: The feasibility of using fluorescein-conjugated lectins to visualize and differentiate three fungi commonly involved in ophthalmic mycoses was evaluated. Using a panel lectins, Candida albicans, Aspergillus fumigatus, Fusarium solani were rapidly reproducibly visualized vitro culture isolates, as well tissue samples fixed histopathologic specimens taken from experimental mycoses. Additionally, consistently differentiated Candida. binding affinities the different corresponded with individual sugar composition fungal cell walls.
