摘要: Atopic dermatitis is the most common chronic inflammatory skin disease among children in industrialized countries. The prevalence recorded to be up 20% children. Phototherapy with ultraviolet B (UVB) an effective form of treatment a low complication rate. Here we report on patient atopic who underwent UVB facial area including eyelids and developed severe keratitis erythema. symptoms diminished within few days under topical steroid treatment. Although phototherapy seems safe procedure for dermatitis, patients undergoing should informed about possible side effects if eyes are not fully closed during use protective eye shields considered, since might induce long-term corneal damage early onset cataract.
