摘要: Worldwide, Mycobacterium tuberculosis causes more deaths than any other organism. It is estmated that 1.7 billion people are infected with M. tuberculosis; the majority of those reside in developing countries. also estimated 60 million worldwide have active tuberculous disease and 2.6 to 2.9 die annually tuberculosis. 1 The emergence human immunodeficiency virus epidemic has contributed resurgence worldwide, 2 HIV infection currently one most important risk factors for progression from clinical disease. In 1990 it was 4.6% all were related HIV. 3 As global burden increases, number children will continue rise, 1.3 new cases < 15-year-old age group years 1994 1995.1 Although (defined as caused byM.. tuberculosis) occur world, reported United States increased late 1980s early 1990s.
