摘要: Instrumentation and measurement technology embrace undoubtedly the techniques which offer various attractive features like non-invasive use. Ultrasonic sensors are adorned with this quality hence most of measurements non-invasively. The applications ultrasonic broadly classified into three categories viz power tools; signal processing devices instruments exploiting frequency stress waves, given here for physical parameters. Based upon one or more variabilities these categories, used in chemical process industries. The flow rate, temperature, liquid level, density concentration solutions dispersions, liquid/liquid interface position, viscosity, pressure, thickness, etc briefly described alongwith basic principles involved.
