摘要: Echinococcus granulosus (E. granulosus) and multilocularis multilocularis) infections are the most common parasitic diseases that affect liver. The disease course is typically slow patients tend to remain asymptomatic for many years. Often diagnosis incidental. Right upper quadrant abdominal pain, hepatitis, cholangitis, anaphylaxis due dissemination of cyst main presenting symptoms. Ultrasonography important in diagnosis. World Health Organization classification, based on ultrasonographic findings, used staging treatment selection. In addition imaging methods, immunological investigations support available options E. infection include open surgery, percutaneous interventions, pharmacotherapy. Aggressive surgery first-choice infection, while pharmacotherapy as an adjunct surgery. Due a paucity clinical studies, empirical evidence largely lacking; there no prominent widely accepted algorithms yet. this article, we review light recent evidence.
