摘要: Paclitaxel is effective against breast cancer. The herbal medicine, Jia-Wei-Xiao-Yao-San (JWXYS), the most frequent prescription used to relieve symptoms of cancer treatments. aim study was investigate herb-drug interaction effects a medicine on distribution paclitaxel lymph. A validated ultraperformance liquid chromatography with tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC-MS/MS) method determine levels in rat plasma and lymph after intravenous infusion alone or without 7 days JWXYS pretreatment. pharmacokinetic results indicate that concentrations exceeded those by approximately 3.6-fold. biodistribution from 39 ± 5%; however, this increased 45 4% With pretreatment, AUC C max were significantly reduced 1.5-fold, compared alone. Additionally, decreased However, absorption rate pretreatment not changed (27 3 30 2%, resp.). Our findings demonstrate when prescribed concurrently monitoring blood pharmacokinetics recommended.
