摘要: Tropical rainforests disappear at an alarming rate causing unprecedented losses in biodiversity and ecosystem services (Hughes et al. 1997, Noble & Dirzo Tilman 2001, Achard 2002) with Southeast Asia showing the highest rates of deforestation any major tropical region (Sodhi 2004). Despite increased recognition value these goods national international levels, continue to be seriously threatened by various forms encroachments such as low-intensity harvesting non-timber forest products rural poor, large-scale plantation forestry state or private actors, conversion forested land smallholder farmers. Transformation ecosystems changes use affect important ultimatively human well-being (Robertson Swinton 2005).
