摘要: In order to understand the behavior of upper layer protocols and design or fine tune their parameters over wireless networks, it is common assume that underlying channel a flat Rayleigh fading channel. Such channels are commonly modeled as finite state Markov chains. Recently, hidden models have also been employed characterize these channels. Although widely used study performance communications at link transport layers, no validation accuracy has performed against experimental data. These not applicable frequency selective Moreover, there good consider effects path loss (average received SNR), packet size, transmission rate variations which significant in IEEE 802.11 local area networks.
