摘要: A guard trace with regularly-spaced multiple vias prevents crosstalk more effectively than a floating or end-terminated resistors. This paper proposes modified traces using irregularly-spaced to solve the design constraint problems and ensure good return path for slotted ground plane. Measurements show that radiated emission can be reduced effectively. Modified are also shown effective in reducing total number of vias.
