摘要: CD163 is a glucocorticoid-inducible member of the scavenger receptor cysteine-rich family proteins. Previous reports have indicated that highly expressed on human macrophages, but found less than 50% peripheral blood monocytes. We now show >99% all CD14 positive monocytes express and monocyte derived dendritic cells low levels CD163. also IL-10, like glucocorticoids, induces high expression cultured Glucocorticoid induced was not inhibited by anti-IL-10 additive with IL-10 treatment, suggesting glucocorticoids increase an independent mechanism. Other anti-inflammatory cytokines (IL-4 IL-13) did expression. In addition, we p155 (a previously identified monocyte/macrophage marker unknown function) shares identity Western blots flow cytometric analysis HEK 293 transfected cDNA for were when probed either mAb RM3/1 (which recognizes CD163) or Mac 2-48 defines p155).
