摘要: ABSTRACTHow is space itself transformed by communication design? Informed Schatzki's (2002) ontology The Site of the Social: A Philosophical Account Constitution Social Life and Change, processes through which design might impact transform public spaces are considered. Propositional in nature, this paper seeks to elicit a dialogue around nature such processes, harnessing insight into transformative power design. Reviewing examples drawn from account, it suggested that defining as ‘social sites’ focusing upon interweaving orders practices exist therein, be key discourse.
