摘要: Triatoma melanocephala is a rare species of Hemiptera. It belonged to the Brasiliensis subcomplex and presents morphological characteristics very close those vitticeps. We investigated spermatogenesis T. compared it with that vitticeps in order determine whether these organisms have similar cytogenetic characteristics. Lacto-acetic orcein staining was used observe all stages meiosis. These two were found same karyotype (2n = 20A + X1X2X3Y), heteropycnotic corpuscles polyploid spermatogonial cells, interfasic profasic nucleus, chromocenter four sex chromosomes during prophase. Thus, we conclude besides morphologic similarity vitticeps, they also cytogenetics.
