摘要: Triatomines are insects that taxonomically included in the Hemiptera order and Triatominae subfamily. Based on phenotypic similarity, capacity hybridization, genetic ecological aspects, triatomine species can be grouped into specific complexes subcomplexes. However, these groupings have not been confirmed. Cytogenetic analyses important cytotaxonomic tools for improving taxonomic knowledge of triatomines. Thus, we examined karyotype Triatoma baratai compared results with those other Matogrossensis subcomplex increase understanding vector potential. We also classification this insect. baratai, similarly to currently compose subcomplex, contains 22 chromosomes (20A + XY). Here, describe diploid chromosome set T. baratai. confirmed their current demonstrated present homogeneity.
