摘要: Why are social security transfers associated with retirement rules? This paper focuses on the political interactions between and security. Using a probabilistic voting approach, it analyzes why old people induced to retire in order receive pension from young. A crucial hypothesis is that leisure age represents “merit good,” which positively valued by all agents society, young old. Thus, politicians choose tax labor income of old, induce them retire. Retirement increases level ideological homogeneity In fact, once retired, elderly more “single-minded,” since they only care about redistributive issues, such as pensions. increase their power allows win game positive transfer (social security).
