摘要: SUMMARY Background: Rickettsioses are diseases caused by rickettsiae, obligate intracellular bacteria that transmitted arthropods to humans. They cause various types of spotted fever and typhus. Methods: A review the literature is presented along with authors' own findings. Results: Six indigenous species rickettsiae have been found in Germany date, five which described as human pathogens other countries. Rickettsia slovaca causes tick-borne lymphadenitis (TIBOLA). helvetica a known pathogen nonspecific fever; its role endocarditis still under investigation. felis so-called flea-borne fever. monacensis massiliae were recently shown classical form The sixth Germany, sp.
