摘要: Abstract Daytime behavioural budgets of coyotes (Canis latrans) living in the Grand Teton National Park, Jackson, Wyoming, were analysed order to determine how activity patterns influenced by food resources and social organization. In winter, rested more hunted less than other seasons. Pack-living travelled resident pairs or solitary residents transients during winter months when major resource was ungulate (predominantly elk, Cervus canadensis) carrion. A mated female a pack significantly only with her mate (as pair) winter. We predict that times shortage, pack-living coyotes, particularly reproductive females, might be at an advantage compared individuals.
