摘要: We have used a nation-wide hospital discharge register to retrieve cases of spontaneous abortion. The frequency hospitalized abortions has been studied in relation occupational factors. Three study schemes are presented the application abortion metal work and exposure metals. Scheme 1 involved on female members Union Metal Workers covering years 1973 – 1979. Eleven hundred were recorded for women. age-standardized pregnancies was slightly higher (7.8 percent) conceived during membership, as compared with those (7.1 before or after it. Exposure sulfur, zinc, cobalt arsenic considered possible workers metallurgical plant. Seven recorded, giving 21 percent all pregnancies. 2 analysis occupations women their husbands community industry. rate economically active community. wives industrial did not deviate from abortions. employed at factory had somewhat more than workers. In scheme 3, analysed occupation woman her husband stated census taken end 1975. One group (welders) an 9.5 8.2
