摘要: Lately, evidence has accumulated the extensive grey matter involvement in multiple sclerosis (MS). It is known that subpial cortical demyelination (SCD) accounts for greatest proportion of demyelinated cortex progressive MS – but it can also be found early and marmosets with experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE). Cerebral shows a distinct endogenous propensity remyelination. But pathogenesis SCD way remyelination not well understood. In first part present study we investigated whether and, if so, which meningeal inflammatory cells are associated EAE. Our data showed significantly increased T paralleled by elevated plasma meninges adjacent to SCD, unaltered B cell numbers compared normal appearing The overlying displayed similarly low T, as control cortex. Follicle-like structures could found. findings suggest infiltration contributes EAE. The second objective this was characterize mature NogoA+ oligodendrocytes Olig2+ oligodendrocyte precursor chronic were reduced lesions patients MS. indicate missing just because lack disturbed proliferation differentiation MS-lesions.
