摘要: Digital particle image velocimetry (DPIV) has been used in a wind tunnel study to measure the velocity field of trailing vortices from blades horizontal axis wind-turbine (HWAT) yaw. The creation vortex circulation is shown vary as function phase angle rotor and yaw between turbine rotor. strength convecting vorticity was also with time. initial formation determined by flow expansion while yawed flows developing then influenced sheet shed inboard blade edge. This interaction significantly affect roll up tip vortex.
