摘要: While cytoplasmic PI3Kinase (PI3K) is well characterized, regulation of nuclear PI3K has been obscure. A novel protein, PIKE (PI3Kinase Enhancer), interacts with to stimulate its lipid kinase activity. encodes a 753 amino acid GTPase. Dominant-negative prevents the NGF enhancement and upregulation cyclin D1. treatment also leads interactions 4.1N, which translocated nucleus, fitting initial identification based on binding 4.1N in yeast two-hybrid screen. Overexpression abolishes effects PI3K. Activation by inhibited NGF-stimulated translocation nucleus. Thus, physiologically modulates activation
