摘要: Abstract Background Tumor compression is a cause of portal hypertension. In adolescents, most tumors are germ cell tumors. Case We report the case 17-year-old female patient with progressive abdominal distention. Portal hypertension ascites and esophageal varices were identified. A computed tomography scan showed large ovarian mass that was consistent teratoma. After laparotomy, resolved. Summary conclusion Venous by an immature teratoma should be considered in adolescents.
