摘要: Abstract Finely divided cerium dioxide powder is an excellent polishing agent for optical glass under intensive processing conditions. Cerium was produced from a mixture of rare earth carbonates by conversion to oxides, reacting with acid separate sediment CeO(OH)2 solution containing the trivalent ions, washing sediment, and drying annealing it produce finely CeO2. Physical chemical investigations each stage were performed. A relation established between properties (such as degree fineness crystal structure) REE oxides that used. It shown very fine generate CeO(OH)2. also obtain CeO2 high specific surface area perfect structure, must be annealed in two steps: (1) dehydration intermediate CeO1.5(OH) powder, (2) at 800–1050°C.
