摘要: The engulfment and cell motility (ELMOs) family of proteins plays a crucial role in tumor migration invasion. However, the function ELMO3 is poorly defined. To elucidate its development progression colorectal cancer (CRC), we examined expression 45 cases paired CRC tissues adjacent normal tissues. Furthermore, assessed effect knockdown on proliferation, cycle, migration, invasion F-actin polymerization HCT116 cells. result shows that was significantly increased comparison to Moreover, this overexpression associated with size (p = 0.007), differentiation 0.001), depth 0.009), lymph node metastasis 0.003), distant 0.013) tumor, node, (TNM)-based classification 0.000). In vitro experiments, silencing inhibited invasion, metastasis, polymerization, induced Gap 1 (G1) phase cycle arrest. Our study demonstrates involved processes growth, CRC, could be used potential molecular diagnostic tool or therapy target CRC.
