摘要: The effect of treatment by a number antineoplastic agents on the growth, ultrastructure and macromolecular synthesis T. glabrata was studied. Many differences were noted in response this yeast to these agents. Thiotepa methotrexate inhibited growth glabrata, while it resistant endoxan-asta vincristine sulphate. A variation morphological also observed. Methotrexate enhanced filamentation thiotepa influenced surface structures cells, resulting loss cytoplasmic materials cell collapse. other two drugs had little or no morphology tested. incorporation precursors for presence restricted. affected uptake RNA, DNA protein limiting them between 62 66% control values. In contrast, limited lesser extent. possible mechanism action against clinical implications findings are discussed.
