摘要: Detailed information about stage-specific changes in gene expression is crucial for the understanding of regulatory networks underlying development. Here, we describe global dynamics during early flower development, a key process life cycle plant, which floral patterning and specification organs established. We used novel induction system Arabidopsis, allows isolation large number synchronized buds, conjunction with whole-genome microarray analysis to identify genes differential at distinct stages found that onset formation characterized by massive downregulation incipient primordia, followed predominance activation differentiation organs. Among identified as differentially expressed experiment, detected significant enrichment closely related members families. The profiles these were often highly correlated, indicating similar temporal patterns. Moreover, majority specifically up-regulated certain developmental stages. Because co-expressed families Arabidopsis frequently act redundant manner, results suggest high degree functional redundancy but also its extent may vary manner.
