摘要: [1] Numerical experiments of stratified turbulence are conducted with a high-resolution nonhydrostatic Boussinesq model to investigate the energy spectrum produced by synoptic scale forcings. The spectral slope obtained in our experiment planetary rotation is close −3 scales and −5/3 mesoscales, as observed troposphere. While vortical modes predominant range, magnitude divergent greater than that ones range. downscale cascade associated plays an important role formation mesoscale kH−5/3 spectrum. In without rotation, steeper transfer larger vertical wavenumbers increased.
