摘要: Bacterial infections are major constraints in aquaculture farming. These pathogens often adapt to the biofilm mode of growth and resist antibiotic treatments. We have used a non-toxic glycolipid biosurfactant (BS-SLSZ2) derived from marine epizootic bacterium Staphylococcus lentus treat associated an eco-friendly manner. found that BS-SLSZ2 contained threose, four-carbon sugar as glycone component, hexadecanoic octadecanoic acids aglycone components. The critical micelle concentration purified was 18 mg mL-1. This displayed anti-adhesive activity inhibited formation by preventing initial attachment cells onto surfaces. (at 20 μg) able inhibit Vibrio harveyi Pseudomonas aeruginosa biofilms 80.33 ± 2.16 82 2.03%, respectively. At this concentration, it also disrupt mature V. (78.7 1.93%) P. (81.7 0.59%). towards Artemia salina. In vivo challenge experiments showed effective protecting A. salina nauplii against infections. study highlights significance natural products providing alternative controlling agents decreasing usage antibiotics settings.
