摘要: Diffuse cerebral ischemia was created in pentobarbital-anesthetized cats by basilar and bilateral carotid artery occlusions hypotension. Local blood flow (ICBF) assessed autoradiographically with 14C-antipyrine, local glucose utilization 14C-2-deoxyglucose. In animals without pretreatment, 15 min of led to a homogeneous reduction post-ischemic perfusion 31% control; 30 produced heterogeneities the cortex deep gray structures. pretreated dextrose, 1.5 gm/kg intravenously, heterogeneous observed following only ischemia, severe global impairment reperfusion occurred after insult. Deoxyglucose autoradiograms latter were remarkable for complete suppression tracer uptake paradoxically increased concentration white matter. Mean plasma treated exceeded 1000 mg/100 ml. Large loads prior dramatically impair perfusion.
