摘要: Liver transplantation has evolved as the therapy of choice for patients with end-stage liver disease. However, waiting list is growing at a fast pace, whereas number available organs not proportional rate. The potential use steatotic livers transplant, one most common types from marginal donors, become major focus investigations. However clinical problem still unresolved since are more susceptible to ischemiareperfusion (I/R) injury and, when used, have poorer outcome than non-steatotic livers. Indeed, associated increased risk primary non-function or dysfunction after surgery. Therefore, minimizing adverse effects I/R could improve outcomes in surgery, increase both suitable grafts and who successfully recover transplantation.
