摘要: Abstract This randomized, controlled study among pregnant women evaluated the prevaccination distribution of anti-pneumococcal (Pnc) antibodies (Ab), immunogenicity and reactogenicity Pnc polysaccharide vaccine, transplacental transfer Ab. The vaccine group ( N = 106) received PS Hemophilus influenzae type b conjugate tetanus toxoid; control = 54) toxoid only. Sera cord blood were assayed for anti-pnc Ab using enzyme immunoassay. In group, anti-Pnc rose by 3- to 9-fold was significantly higher in blood. evaluating vaccines, concentration 0.35 μg/ml is suggested as protective threshold against invasive disease. Around 90% mothers had this level pre-vaccination. Considering decay passively acquired growth infant, an at least 4.4 μg/ml needed if infants are be protected up 4 months age. Cord above 60% 10% groups, respectively. Maternal immunization with can provide prolonged protection through
