摘要: Recently, Schulten postulated on the basis of his experiments and quantum-mechanical calculations that variations strength earth's magnetic field may influence reactions in biological systems. In this paper groups birds were subjected to different low magnetic-field strength. The these enzyme hydroxyindol-O-methyl transferase (HIOMT) was determined. HIOMT is unique retina pineal gland seems be involved regulation light-adaptation processes. A significant effect found, which can interpreted as being agreement with Schulten's theory. These observations further supported by our examination variation human night-vision acuity. Whereas avian connection navigation, importance for remains elucidated.
