摘要: The discovery of the magnetic sensitivity mammalian pineal gland (electrophysiology: Semm et al., 1980; biochemistry: Welker 1983) initiated for first time possibility measuring influences environment in central nervous system. We found this remarkable property during a research program dealing with electrophysiological characteristics pinealocytes. However, we were mainly interested physiological basis compass migrating and homing animals. After it became clear that is not directly involved orientation (Maffei 1983; 1987), used as tool finding other nerve cells might be (Beason Semm, 1987; 1984; Demaine, 1986).
