摘要: Abstract The mode coupling in the tilted long period fiber grating (TLPG) is analyzed by using full vector complex coupled theory (FV-CCMT). Compared with non-tilted LPG, new resonance bands corresponding to LP1m cladding modes are observed transmission spectrum of TLPG. combination degenerate TE0m, TM0m and HE2m different propagation constants. maximum between LP01 occurs at a tilt angle ∼87°. Numerical results show that state polarization (SOP) input light would induce shift wavelength. Also, RI sensitivity wavelength much higher than normal LP0m modes. Such TLPG find application chemical biological sensing fields.
