摘要: Tetracycline resistance in Mycoplasma hominis and Ureaplasma urealyticum has been associated with the tetM determinant recently increasing incidence. We report here a rapid method for detection of based on use polymerase chain reaction (PCR) to amplify 397-bp DNA fragment from gene verification specificity using restriction enzyme TaqI. Analysis 42 U. 49 M. isolates indicates that PCR may be clinically useful determination tetracycline sensitivity, as is presently only known these two organisms. All tetM-positive were sensitive doxycycline, indicating does not necessarily confer this antibiotic.
