摘要: OBJECTIVE: To review the published data on studies examining immunohistochemical markers of hydatidiform moles for determination diagnosis or prognosis, with regard to whether such investigations can provide clinically relevant information.STUDY DESIGN: Search computerized literature databases identify reporting findings in cases mole followed by summarization and interpretation findings.RESULTS: Of 166 initially identified, 88 were included final analysis. Some markers, as P57KIP2, show distinct differences expression between groups are useful clinical practice complete moles. appear be associated increased risk progression requiring chemotherapy, including P53, EGFR, HER2, c-erbB-2 telomerase reduced nm23.CONCLUSION: Despite technical issues complicating overall interpretation, small sample size uncertainty classification many studies, convincing is reported several which should guide future studies. Insufficient exists recommend changes management based current evidence. (J Reprod Med 2010;55:236-246)
