摘要: Background and Objectives  The blood platelet content (in numbers) of concentrates is required for production quality control to predict clinical responses. Materials Methods  This study compared the performance automated counting from impedance optical instruments data immunoplatelet reference analysis. Results  All methods showed good linearity with evidence significant instrument-specific deviations line agreement. Relational formulae largely corrected bias, but did not resolve count variability. A second confounding factor, related proportion small (activated) platelets, was also shown contribute intermethod discrepancies. Conclusions  Blood processing centres should establish correction factors each instrument methods, such as count.
