摘要: Die chronische Osteomyelitis ist eine schwerwiegende Komplikation, die durch einen ossaren und weichteilassoziierten Keimbefall charakterisiert ist. Behandlung der chronischen stellt schwierigsten Herausforderungen fur den Chirurgen in Extremitatenchirurgie dar. Das therapeutische Management zielt auf Infektbeherrschung, Frakturheilung ein zufriedenstellendes funktionelles Ergebnis. Therapeutische Strategien ermoglichen haufig Kombination radikal chirurgischer Intervention systemischer Antibiotikatherapie Infektsanierung. Der verbleibende Knochen- Weichteildefekt muss anschliesend rekonstruiert werden; dessen Ausheilung entscheidet uber das funktionelle Ergebnis Behandlung.
