Case Report: Intracerebral Hemorrhage After γ-Knife Surgery for Metastatic Brain Tumor

摘要: The authors report a case of 69-year-old man with metastatic brain tumors who died spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage 3 days after γ-knife surgery. He had been suffering from lung cancer multiple systemic metastasis. Preoperative magnetic resonance images showed two well-defined round lesions intratumoral in the left frontal and right occipital lobe. There was no bleeding tendency hematological examination patient normotensive. γ-Knife surgery performed on both single session. However, massive lesion have previous reports mortality resulting documented literature. It is likely that events, hemorrhage, occurred separately were not associated. it worth noting there possibility surgery, especially tumor preexisting as our case.
