摘要: Over the past several decades, Stress Process Model has provided predominant theoretical foundation for sociological research into effects of stress on mental health and empirical continues to substantiate its account how society shapes members. Its core elements are: influence social system exposure stressors; parallel access personal resources; and, role these resources as mediators moderators. Pivotal developments include: (1) articulation nature inquiry stress, (2) conceptualization measurement universe, (3) debate about psychological distress a continuum versus discrete disorders appropriate outcomes research, (4) proposition that multiple are required ascertain consequences stressors. We conclude future should explicate components related one another in order realize more fully explanatory potential system.
