摘要: The past five years have led to a tremendous increase in our molecular understanding of the mode action anthrax toxin, one two main virulence factors produced by Bacillus anthracis . structures each three components toxin – lethal factor (LF), edema (EF) and protective antigen (PA) been solved not only their monomeric forms but, depending on subunit, heptameric form, bound substrate, co-factor or receptor. endocytic route followed has also unraveled enzymatic mechanisms EF LF elucidated.
