摘要: Summary The Bauschinger effect has been studied in Cu, Al, Pb, Ni and Fe, after deformations between 1% 120%. strain associated with the is shown to be approximately proportional stress applied produce work-hardening, divided by elastic modulus. It independent of grain size. Its small dependence on temperature explicable terms a thermal component stress. slightly dependent purity. results agree those other workers, but disagree predictions existing theories. A possible qualitative explanation suggested.
