摘要: Although visceromegaly at necropsy is the rule in acromegaly, it was not detected clinically except presence of another disease process. Of 57 patients with nine had clinical hepatomegaly. In eight these patients, a second process that accounted for organ enlargements. Hepatic function tests were almost uniformly normal. Two splenomegaly. both, known to cause splenic enlargement detected. The submaxillary salivary glands unusually prominent 87% and noticeably enlarged 26%.
