摘要: Magnetic permeability was imparted to a naturally non-magnetic material by metallic inclusions. A patch antenna tested the performance of magnetic metamaterial as substrate. The exhibited enhanced /spl mu/ and epsiv/ predicted with acceptable loss-factor levels. Models for predicting are presented simulations indicate that can be extended well beyond several GHz current technology. Permeability in mu//sub r/=1-4 range is achievable moderately low-loss applications. representative miniaturization factor=4-6.4 efficiency=21-35%.
