摘要: Summary of Background Data: The high prevalence chronic persistent neck pain not only leads to disability but also has a significant economic, societal, and health impact. Among multiple modalities treatments prescribed in the management upper extremity pain, surgical, interventional conservative have been described. Cervical epidural injections are common provided managing pain. They administered by either an interlaminar approach or transforaminal approach. Objectives: To determine long-term efficacy cervical treatment disc herniation, spinal stenosis, discogenic without facet joint post-surgery syndrome. Materials Methods: literature search was performed from 1966 April 2014 utilizing data PubMed, Cochrane Library, US National Guideline Clearinghouse, previous systematic reviews, crossreferences. evidence assessed based on best synthesis with Level I V. Results: There were 7 manuscripts meeting inclusion criteria. Of these, 4 role for herniation radiculitis, 3 these central post surgery syndrome. quality manuscripts. A qualitative showed there is II each etiology category. one relevant, trial supporting particular etiology. no randomized trials available assessing injections. Conclusion: This review shows local anesthetic steroids, at least high-quality relevant control category
