摘要: Peritoneal macrophages were collected from juvenile turtles 72h after intraperitoneal inoculation with a 3% Sephadex suspension. The assayed for their chemiluminescent (CL) properties, reflecting respiratory burst activity, stimulation Zymosan A, phorbol 12-myristate 13-acetate (PMA), N-formyl-methionyl-leucyl-phenylalanine (fMLP), and calcium ionophore A23187. Except fMLP, all triggering agents induced marked CL response. Luminol was used as the probe. When comparing responses in temperatures ranging 15 to 35 degrees C, lower assay slower responses. Stimulation viable Salmonella muenchen resulted distinct Bacteria, inactivated by means of heat or acetone, faster stronger oxidative burst. Opsonization either heat-inactivated S. non-inactivated anti-S. serum, prepared turtles, higher On other hand, opsonization acetone-inactivated caused be weaker. muenchen, opsonized turtle anti than non-opsonized bacteria, but weaker bacteria native antiserum. No response recorded LPS supernatant bacteria.
