摘要: The use of contingent valuation (CV) methods for estimating the economic value environmental improvements and damages has increased significantly. However, doubts exist regarding validity usual willingness to pay CV methods. In this article, we examine approach in light recent findings from behavioral decision research constructive nature human preferences. We argue that a principal source problems with conventional is they impose unrealistic cognitive demands upon respondents. propose new approach, based on value-structuring capabilities multiattribute utility theory analysis, discuss its advantages disadvantages.
