摘要: Effects of the M2-tide have been calculated for a 4°-model present oceans and an approximate Pangea configuration continents at end Permian. From changes within tidal period, only movement solid Earth’ barycenter is order 2 cm. The net torque in accordance with astronomical value; smaller by factor 1/3 (the palaeontological evidence seems to indicate low values this later epochs). - question posed whether forces bottom friction may influence motions tectonic plates.
