摘要: Two wild members of the camel family occur on aridlands South America: vicuna (Vicugna vicugna) and guanaco (Lama guanicoe). The is found in central Andean altiplano or puna, an equatorial short-grassland that above treeline below snowline, despite its 3700m to 4800m elevation (Koford, 1957; Franklin, 1973 a, b). In contrast, ranges from sea level 4000m more widely distributed (Franklin, 1975).
