摘要: Abstract The temperature distribution of a thermoelectric cooler under the influence Thomson effect, Joule heating, Fourier’s heat conduction, and radiation convection transfer is derived. effect on profiles, fraction Joule’s that flows back to low-temperature side, consequently maximum attainable difference allowable load are emphasized explored. results suggest cooling efficiency can be improved not only by increasing figure-of-merit materials but also taking advantage effect.
