摘要: Objective (1) To study the neuropsychological and psychopathological profile in myoclonus-dystonia (M-D) patients with without a mutation DYT11 gene. (2) explore whether cognitive psychiatric impairments are related to severity duration of motor symptoms. Herewith, this may help clarify symptoms associated or secondary burden that originated early childhood. Methods Extensive batteries tests questionnaires were administered gene mutation-carrying (MC) M-D (n=31), non-mutation-carrying (NMC) (n=20) healthy control group (n=36). Results MC demonstrated mild executive functions. On contrary, exception one type verbal fluency, no evident found NMC patients. Further, increased rates anxiety disorders only patients, whereas depressive observed both groups. Correlation analyses yielded modest associations between myoclonus No relationships test performance scores on assessments. Conclusions The findings suggest dysfunctions be part phenotype mutation, semantic fluency suffering from chronic movement disorder, regardless mutation.
